Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript Developer specializing in Angular to join our team. This role emphasizes the creation of dynamic, high-performance web applications with a strong focus on user experience. You will be instrumental in driving the evolution of our web projects, ensuring they are not only visually appealing and robust but also exceptionally user-centric. You will work closely with a team of passionate user interface designers and developers on high-visibility projects where the experience of a diverse group of end-users is the most important factor.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development of complex, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Angular.
  • Collaborate with our design and back-end teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end components.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest JavaScript and Angular technologies and best practices.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution.
  • Ensure the user experience is central to all projects, prioritizing the needs and satisfaction of a diverse user base.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a JavaScript developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your Angular projects.
  • Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Strong understanding of front-end build tools and task runners.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion and interest in good design and UX.
  • The right to work in Belgium without the need for visa sponsorship.
