We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer who speaks both Dutch and French to join the Little Miss Robot team. You’ll work full-time as a consultant on various projects for one client in the public sector, helping shape complex digital products that people find easy to use.
What you’ll do
- Create wireframes and detailed designs using a design system, while also helping build that design system in Figma.
- Set up and manage a design system in Figma, including its governance and getting stakeholders on board during implementation.
- Work on digital projects for federal government services and other public services.
- Make sense of complex processes and turn them into clear diagrams and visuals, like process flows and user flows.
- Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with people from business, IT and communications, and with representatives of the target group.
- Prepare, run and process user research and testing.
- Explain your design decisions convincingly and document requirements carefully.
- Work closely with project managers, functional and business analysts and developers.
Where you’ll work
You’ll join two other designers at our client. Two days a week you work at the client’s office in Brussels. On the other days you choose whether to work from home or from our offices in Ghent or Antwerp.
What we’re looking for
- You have extensive digital design experience (UX and/or UI) and you know Figma inside out.
- You have hands-on experience with design systems in Figma.
- You get energy from co-creating with colleagues, clients and users.
- You like building long-term relationships with a client, based on trust.
- A complex public sector context doesn’t scare you. You want to dive in.
- You’re empathetic, you want to understand what clients and organisations really need, and you can think and act from their perspective.
- You translate conceptual ideas into visual solutions through concept sketches, wireflows, storyboards and more.
- You know your way around service design methods such as user research, experience mapping and facilitating co-creation.
- You’re fluent in Dutch and can hold a conversation in French, or the other way around.
