Amal, formerly known as IN-Gent, is one of four agencies in Flanders dedicated to helping non-native speakers integrate. As a trusted integration partner, Amal plays a key role in supporting newcomers through tailored services and resources. Amal approached us to help them create a new website with improved usability and a clearer positioning for their three different target groups.

We designed and built an intuitive website based upon Amal’s vibrant visual identity. By prioritizing clarity and functionality, we ensured the platform is accessible to a wide range of users. The design speaks to all of Amal’s users, with different sections catering individually to each target group, enhancing the user experience.

We’re incredibly proud that together with Amal vzw, we won not one but two FeWeb awards in 2023 for this project. The website was awarded the titles ‘Website Champ of the Year’ and ‘Accessibility Champ of the Year’ during the Digital Champs & Impact Awards 2023, organized by FeWeb.

The jury praised Amal’s website for its intuitiveness and user-centric design, setting an example for other websites in terms of accessibility and inclusivity. With a perfect score of 100% on automated accessibility checks and a cohesive user experience, the website highlights the importance of focusing on end-user needs.
