Belfius is one of the biggest Belgian banking and insurance companies, providing a wide range of financial services to individuals and businesses alike. When entering the do-it-yourself investing market, they sought to create a platform that was not only functional but also user-friendly and engaging. We partnered with them to develop the vision and design of their new investment platform. Enter Re=Bel, the investment app with a cause.
To stand out amongst other online brokers, Belfius wanted to offer a more accessible and intuitive experience for all users, regardless of their level of investing expertise. The platform has been designed in a very intuitive way to guide customers optimally in every phase of investing, from account setup to portfolio management. By focusing on UI/UX, interaction design, and user research, we ensured that the app meets the needs of both novice and experienced investors.
With our help on Re=Bel, Belfius was able to convince existing and new customers to join their platform. In their first year, they gained 60,000 engaged users, who collectively made 267,000 transactions amounting to over a billion euro worth of investments. The success of Re=Bel demonstrates how a well-designed, user-centric platform can make investing more accessible and appealing to a broader audience.
