The Province of Antwerp aims to close the gap between education and the labour market. To make learning more accessible and engaging, they introduced Hylas—a digital lab specifically designed to teach 10 to 14-year-olds about healthcare and construction. They needed a trusted partner to create engaging hybrid learning environments — that’s where we came in.
Our collaboration focused on the development and integration of three main components: a state-of-the-art 3D game portal designed to captivate and educate young learners, a comprehensive teachers’ platform to help educators manage and monitor student progress effectively, and an engaging public website to support their marketing and communication efforts.
The game portal serves as the main entrance. Young teenagers learn about healthcare and construction through interactive and educational gameplay in an immersive 3D environment, exploring real-world scenarios and making education fun and practical.
The teachers’ platform, myHylas, lets schools and teachers manage student data efficiently. Educators can monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and tailor educational content to individual needs. Lastly, the public website effectively supports marketing and communication. Through it, the Province of Antwerp can reach a wider audience and actively promote their mission.
