PSA, the Port of Antwerp’s largest container handler, required a new mobile application to streamline team planning.
The planners at PSA already used an application that was embedded into their operations. The main challenge was integrating a new application into the existing architecture of PSAA and MPET.
We paid close attention to the application’s design, so that each different type of user within the port could quickly and easily access must-know information.
Besides the design, we also linked the new application to PSA’s underlying systems. We involved all necessary stakeholders throughout this process as security and user management were key priorities.
Our team handled the front-end development and slicing for both mobile and web platforms, incorporating multiple different functionalities. The final product gives dock workers an easy way to manage their schedules, request leave, or schedule and swap shifts when needed.
