Questions we usually get
Native or hybrid, which is right for us?
For most apps we’d build hybrid with Ionic and Capacitor, which gives you one codebase that feels native on both platforms and ships through the stores. We reach for native when you lean on the GPU or on close device-API work that hybrid can’t carry well. We tell you early which side of that line your app falls on, so the choice is made before the build starts rather than discovered halfway through.
Do we need a native app, or is a web app/PWA enough?
If your product doesn’t need to live in the stores or reach deep device features, a PWA saves you both the build and the store overhead while still installing to the home screen. The moment you need install plus real device APIs together, that’s the point where a native or hybrid app starts to pay for itself. The honest answer follows from what your product needs to do, and feeling more serious isn’t one of those needs.
Can you turn our existing website into an app?
Yes, that’s what Capacitor is built for: it wraps your web app so it installs from the App Store and Play Store like any other. It works well when the experience is already web-first and doesn’t ask the device for much beyond the basics. It’s the wrong move when you need true native performance, because wrapping a web app won’t give you what native rendering would.
Can you take over or fix an existing app?
Yes, and we audit the codebase along with its store and OS compliance first, since a neglected app is usually behind on SDK requirements and one policy change away from being pulled. We fix what’s dragging it down before we add anything new on top. An app that’s been left alone for a year or two often needs the platform debt cleared before any new feature is worth building.
Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes, we handle both submissions. The constraints there are Apple’s and Google’s rather than ours, so review can bounce on a single guideline detail, and the developer accounts need to be in your name so the listings stay yours rather than ours. We build to the store rules from the start, which means the first submission isn’t the moment you find out what they are.
